An architectural classic. Upright, sculptural stems that fork into clean green lines, giving this plant its “pencil” nickname. It brings height and structure without feeling heavy, which makes it perfect for shelves, consoles or bright kitchens.

Native to Africa, Euphorbia tirucalli is technically a succulent, so it loves bright light and a bit of neglect. The more light it gets, the stronger and more compact the growth. In very bright conditions the stems can even take on warm tones.

A few house rules...

Bright, indirect light to some direct sun

Allow the soil to dry out fully between waterings

Soil: Free draining cactus or succulent mix
Growth: Upright, branching structure that becomes slightly woody at the base over time
Please note: Like all euphorbias, it produces a white milky sap if cut. This can be irritating to skin and eyes, so handle with care and keep away from pets and children.

Delivery is £5.99 and free on orders over £70.
