Practically indestructible, the yellow-edged leaves of this plant make it instantly recognisable. It’s bold and architectural, the kind of plant that looks like it was designed to sharpen up corners and hallways. It purifies the air and is also one of the easiest ways to add greenery to darker spaces.

A few house rules...

Light

Laurentii is famously tolerant. It will live happily in low light, thrive in medium light, and power on in bright, indirect sun. Direct, harsh rays can scorch, but otherwise it’s one of the least fussy plants you’ll meet.
Watering

• Let the soil dry almost completely before watering
• Water deeply, then drain away excess
• Needs very little water in winter
• Use a free-draining, sandy mix
Important Info

• Can reach 1 metre tall over time
• Not safe for pets
• Fun fact: Snake Plants store water in their leaves and can survive weeks (even months) without care
