Aloe vera has been used for centuries for its cooling gel, often called the original skin soother. Beyond the practical side, it’s also clean and sculptural, with thick leaves that store water and give it a bold, minimal shape. It feels as at home in a kitchen as it does on a sunny desk, and works especially well styled with ceramics or stoneware.

A few house rules...

Aloe loves plenty of bright light. A sunny windowsill or a bright room with several hours of direct sun will keep it looking compact and healthy. Too little light makes it stretch and lose its neat shape.

• Let the soil dry out almost completely between waterings
• Give it a thorough soak, then leave it alone
• Use a free-draining mix and always empty any water that collects in the saucer
• Needs very little water in winter

• Slow to moderate grower indoors
• Usually stays under 60 cm tall in pots
• Not safe for pets
• Stores water in its leaves, making it incredibly drought tolerant

Delivery is £5.99 and free on orders over £70.

Returns

We stand by our plants. If your plant arrives damaged, let us know within twenty four hours with a photo and we will sort a replacement or refund.

All plants come with a 14 day guarantee. If anything happens to your plant despite proper care, we will refund or send out a new one.
