The Bay Tree is a classic outdoor evergreen with real presence. Its dense, glossy leaves and naturally upright shape make it ideal for patios, doorways and balconies where you want something structured and timeless. It brings that relaxed Mediterranean feel without being fussy.

Beyond looking good, it’s useful too. Fresh bay leaves can be picked and added straight to cooking, making it both ornamental and practical. It responds well to gentle pruning, so you can keep it neat or shape it more formally if you prefer.

A few house rules...

Light

Full sun is best. Bay Trees thrive outdoors in bright, open positions and are happiest with several hours of direct light each day. They can however tolerate a few hours of shade
Watering

Water regularly in warmer months, especially if kept in a pot. Allow the top layer of compost to dry slightly between waterings. In winter, reduce watering and avoid leaving the roots sitting in soggy soil.
Important Info

Bay Trees are hardy in most of the UK but may need protection in very cold winters, particularly when young or grown in containers. Move to a sheltered spot or wrap the pot if frost is forecast.

Delivery is £5.99 and free on orders over £70.

Orders arrive in two to five working days. We aim to ship orders within 24 hours with next day delivery in order to reduce transit time, although sometimes dispatch may be slightly delayed depending on stock levels. All deliveries are fully tracked.

XL plants in London are hand delivered.

For everything else we ship using our trusted next day couriers.

Returns

We stand by our plants. If your plant arrives damaged, let us know within twenty four hours with a photo and we will sort a replacement or refund.

All plants come with a 14 day guarantee. If anything happens to your plant despite proper care, we will refund or send out a new one.
