Known for its perfectly round leaves and sculptural form, the Chinese Money Plant has become a modern classic. Native to the mountain forests of southern China, it grows upright before gently arching with age, giving it a soft, architectural shape. It suits almost any style of home and pairs especially well with neutral tones or minimalist interiors.

 

A few house rules...

Light

The Chinese Money Plant loves bright, indirect light. A spot near a sunny window works well, as long as the rays aren’t too strong. Rotate it every so often to help it grow evenly as the round leaves naturally lean toward the light.
Watering

Water when the top few centimetres of soil feel dry. It prefers a light, steady routine rather than being left dry for too long. Allow any excess water to drain, and ease off a little during winter when growth slows.
