A few house rules...

Light

Philodendron scandens thrives in medium light but is highly adaptable. It will tolerate lower light, though the growth will be slower and the leaves smaller. A spot near a window is ideal as long as the sun is filtered and not too harsh.
Watering

Water when the top layer of soil feels dry. Give it a thorough soak and allow the pot to drain fully. It prefers steady moisture but copes well if you occasionally forget, making it forgiving for busy homes!
