Vriesea ‘Astrid’ prefers bright, indirect light. It tolerates medium light but avoids intense direct sun, which can burn its leaves.

• Fill the central cups (well) with water and refresh it regularly
• Drain and flush the cup periodically to avoid stagnation
• Use filtered or rainwater if your tap water is hard
• In lower light or cooler periods, reduce watering frequency
