Euphorbia trigona

Euphorbia trigona, often called the African Milk Tree. It looks cactus-like but is technically a succulent in the Euphorbia family. The African Milk Tree is bold and architectural. Upright stems with patterned ridges make it look like living sculpture. Super easy going as long as you can place it in a bright spot.

A few house rules...

Light

This one loves bright, indirect light and will even handle a few hours of direct sun. A sunny windowsill or a well-lit room is perfect. In lower light it may stretch and lose its upright shape, so brighter is always better.
Watering

• Water sparingly and only when the soil is completely dry
• Give it a good soak and then leave it alone
• Make sure the pot drains freely to avoid root rot
• Needs very little in winter when growth slows right down
Important Info

• Can reach over 1.5 to 2 metres indoors with time
• Fast grower in the right conditions
• Not pet safe, sap can be irritating to skin
• Long-living and very low-maintenance
