Diffenbachia ‘Camilla’ has soft, painterly foliage that blends pale cream with rich green edges. Native to tropical Central and South America, it’s adapted to filtered forest light .. the reason it looks so at home in airy interiors. The broad leaves instantly brighten a corner and pair well with natural materials like wood, linen, or terracotta. Despite its calm look, it grows quickly in the right conditions and becomes a striking mid-height statement plant.

A few house rules...

Camille thrives in bright, indirect light. It can handle medium light too, though the creamy centre of its leaves will become more green. Keep it out of direct sun, which can scorch the lighter areas. A bright room with filtered light is ideal.

Water when the top few centimetres of soil feel dry. Camille prefers evenly moist soil but won’t tolerate sitting in water. Reduce watering during cooler months and make sure the pot has good drainage.
