A few house rules...

Light

Asplenium nidus prefers medium light and will happily grow in lower light too. It’s naturally found attached to tree trunks beneath the canopy, where the light is soft and filtered. Keep it out of direct sun, which can scorch the delicate fronds.
Watering

Keep the soil lightly moist but never soggy. Water around the base of the plant rather than into the central rosette to avoid rot. It enjoys humidity, so mist occasionally or place it in a steamy bathroom where the air stays moist.
