Aglaonema ‘White Joy’ brings an effortless lift to any room. Its pale, patterned leaves brighten shady corners and look particularly striking against darker walls or matte ceramics. Originating from the subtropics, it enjoys a bit of warmth and humidity .. think bathrooms, kitchens, or anywhere that feels calm and softly lit.

A few house rules...

Light

White Joy thrives in medium light and stays happy in lower light too, which makes it perfect for shaded rooms. Brighter spots help keep its white and green pattern crisp, but avoid direct sun that can burn the pale sections. It’s a great option for spaces that most houseplants would find too dim.
Watering

Water regularly, checking that the top few centimetres of soil have dried before watering again. It hates being soggy. In winter, let it dry out a little more between waterings.
